What I have learnt about the language is: Hard to spell, pronunciation, and It is called to he bzc its another version called "to te" which represent awhistling sound.

What I have learnt about the culture is: It is existing nearly for 300 years.

The application is a great tool for learners to learn a language and experience a part of the culture. The opportunity to experience another culture far away from their country is uncommon. Sometimes, it is still not guaranteed to experience a part of a culture by travelling to that country. With the current situation of the pandemic, travelling and vacation are deem as non-essential. Therefore, this application is capable of allowing individuals to experience a minute part of one’s culture through this difficult time.
The experience of making To He was amazing as I got to experience a part of Vietnamese culture. Vocabulary learning was not as easy as it was a completely new language. The ability to experience the culture while learning is great. The only difficulty was making the dough during the To He, it was quite time-consuming and the process was dependent on individual skill.

A) Experience/Process of making To He
- I think that this was fun and also was good for teamworking/spending time with people

B) Learning the language
- I think it definitely helps us to remember the words when we are making the To He but I think the videos should all have English subtitles that are colour-coded

C) Culture
- This part was perfect! The intro video + the activity itself definitely achieve their goal of improving cultural knowledge in a proactive way.

The app was really interactive and it definitely allowed me to learn those specific words that were chosen. Having the words highlighted in the videos also helped me be able to listen to them. I liked the idea of having some questions at the end as well.

The videos provided were easy enough to follow so making the To He wasn't very hard.

App creating experience

As a person who created materials using ENACT app, I have found the app is very easy to use with clear step-by-step instructions. It also allows me to create subtitles by inserting colours and various text fonts, which were really helpful for my research purpose. I also found the small practice exercise at the end really interesting, which can easily attract users' attention and motivate them to get involved.

I really enjoyed this multifaceted activity. I got to learn something from the Vietnamese culture, about which I had been mostly clueless up to now.
I also liked listening about the historical development of the toy "To He" and learning relevant words and phrases in Vietnamese while engaging in the cultural activity myself.
