Talks in Thailand and New Zealand in November 2023

Paul Seedhouse travelled to Thailand and New Zealand during November 2023 and gave a number of talks on the ENACT web app.

At the WORLDCALL Conference in Chiang Mai, Thailand (11 November), he gave 3 talks on various aspects of ENACT, including a workshop in which delegates made cultural materials to upload onto ENACT. He was helped by Newcastle graduate Dr Sumita Supakorn (pictured left) and current PhD student Pattaramas Jantasin. The photo shows Loy Krathong banana leaf boats made for the famous Thai festival.

At Thammasat University, Bangkok, he gave a hybrid talk on ENACT on 13 November to students and staff, including Newcastle graduate Dr Moddy Kanokpermpoon (pictured right below).

At Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, he gave a hybrid talk to staff and students on ENACT on November 22, including the Māori Poi ball materials which he recorded on a previous visit. A video recording of the talk is on https://doi.org/10.52843/cassyni.20jkdh

At the ALANZ Symposium, University of Auckland, he gave a face-to-face talk on 25 November to other academics on ENACT, including the Māori Poi ball materials which he recorded on a previous visit to New Zealand.
