Digital applications and infrastructures

As part of this output, we created the website which hosts our project information and the ENACT web app. More specifically, we produced an interactive, progressive web app with three components:
1. An engagement interface: to interact with interactive digital cultural artefacts
2. A creation interface: to author new cultural activities
3. An online community: to add likes, emoticons, comments, and feedback as well as to share and promote content.

To access the web app, click on the LEARN tab. When you register and log in (see link on the top right corner), the CREATE tab will become visible, and you can start creating your cultural activity! When you register and log in, you are able to post comments and send messages to other users and become part of the ENACT community!

We have also developed:
- a set of online video tutorials and printable user guides for using the tool, both for creation of new activities or for engaging with existing ones (see the USER GUIDES tab)
- a project website which provides project information and updates and an area for project members to access interim reports. The project website is also the main access point to the developed web app. (You are currently on the website!)

We have published two magazine articles about the features of the ENACT web app and how it was developed.
You can read our article in the FLTMAG: IALLT's free language technology magazine here: https://fltmag.com/cultural-tasks-enact/
Our ENACT article is featured in the BABEL The Language Magazine number 35 ( May 2021): https://babelzine.co.uk/babel-number-35-may-2021/

We will provide information on our research articles about the development of the web app in due course. The work is in progress, and do watch this space!
